Laktoositon kevytmaito UHT on monikäyttöinen maito, jota voi nauttia ruokajuomana tai käyttää ruoanlaitossa ja leivonnassa. UHT-käsitelty maito on iskukuumennettu kahden sekunnin ajaksi vähintään +135°C:seen. Lämpökäsittelyn ansiosta tuote säilyy avaamattomana pitkään huoneenlämmössä, ja se onkin kätevä napata mukaan mökille, veneelle tai kahvimaidoksi retkelle. Valio UHT maidot sopivat laktoosittomaan ruokavalioon
